LaTeX example

This text:

[latex] \int_{x=0}^{\infty}{\frac{x^3 + 2x^2 + 7x -6}{y^2 + 12}} dx = 0 [/latex]

produces this equation:

 \int_{x=0}^{\infty}{\frac{x^3 + 2x^2 + 7x -6}{y^2 + 12}} dx = 0

LaTex is used for the maths in Wikipedia, so it provides some useful documentation about it, which includes a long list of example expressions:
